is a clock, even though you probably wouldn't recognize it at first glance. It was created by German artist and engineer Peter Hertha (1939 - 1991) and consists of three stainless steel poles with columns of light bulbs between them. These columns are vertically divided in three sections with the top one displaying the hours, the middle one the minutes and the bottom one the seconds. Each section is again divided in two, with the upper part indicating the tens and the lower one the units. So the time displayed in the default picture is 21:01:17, which is wrong because it actually was 11:01:17 - obviously there's something wrong with the tens of the hours, i.e. the topmost bulb fails to go out. Try to figure out yourself what time it is in the other photos.

ist eine Uhr, auch wenn es auf den ersten Blick nicht so aussieht. Sie wurde vom Künstler und Ingenieur Peter Hertha (1939 - 1991) geschaffen und besteht aus drei Edelstahlsäulen, zwischen denen senkrechte Reihen von Glühbirnen angeordnet sind. Diese sind jeweils in drei Abschnitte unterteilt, von denen der oberste die Stunden, der mittlere die Minuten und der untere die Sekunden angibt. Jeder dieser Abschnitte besteht wiederum aus einer oberen und einer unteren Hälfte, wobei die obere die Zehner und die untere die Einer anzeigt. Die Uhrzeit im voreingestellten Bild ist 21:01:17, was aber nicht stimmt, denn tatsächlich war es 11:01:17 - offenbar ist die Zehneranzeige bei den Stunden defekt und die alleroberste Glühbirne geht nicht aus. Versuche selbst herauszufinden, welche Uhrzeit in den anderen Fotos angezeigt wird.
