Springboard Loggers is located on the side of what was The Hub Learning Centre building. The sign is still on the building, at least for now. The mosaic mural is at the corner of 4th Street and Davies Avenue, in downtown Salmo.

This interest mosaic mural has two life sized springboard loggers working away at that large tree.

This is a prime example of the type of logging that was done in the early 1900's. Loggers would make a cut in the trunk of a tree and insert a spring board which they stood on while sawing the tree down.

This mural, created in 1990, was the first project of the Kootenay Stone Masonry Training Institute.
