Running through the centre of the southern Thai city of Hat Yai is a small canal, and situated on the canal are several small gazebos, where weary travellers can rest. Guarding these gazebos against evil are four lions, two at the two entrances. There are no plaques on the gazebos, but they are clearly showing some age, wear and tear from the elements. In design, fairly strait-forward Singha styled, and smaller than life-sized.
