Den Opfern der Gewalt (Victims of Coercion) is an aluminium sculpture on a small concrete pedestal, created by Russian sculptor Vadim Sidur (1924 - 1986). It is about 1.8 meters tall and resembles the shape of a kneeling headless body with arms tied up and raised to the air. Exhibition of the sculpture was made possible in cooperation of a citizen's initiative and the Kassel savings bank in 1974. Location is the Obere Königsstrasse, a pedestrians' zone and the main shopping area in downtown Kassel.

Den Opfern der Gewalt ist eine ca. 1,80 Meter hohe Aluminiumskulptur auf einem kleinen Betonsockel. Sie ist das Werk des russischen Bildhauers Vadim Sidur (1924 - 1986) und lässt an einen knienden, kopflosen Körper denken, dessen Arme gefesselt und in die Höhe gestreckt sind. Die Aufstellung wurde 1974 durch eine Bürgerinitiative in Kooperation mit der Kasseler Sparkasse ermöglicht. Standort ist die Obere Königsstraße gegenüber des Opernplatzes, neben dem Café Paulus.
