This monument is just a few feet east of the highway, right on the border.
Strangely, neither the USGS nor NRCAN have datasheets for this monument, though there are mentions of it in two other datasheets.
From TO0760 datasheet:
FOUND INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARY MONUMENT 188-B AT LAT 49 00 00.0 N LONG 117 17 58.1 W AND USGS BC R55-1930 NEARBY. THE MONUMENT VICINITY MAY HAVE BEEN FILLED AND THE MONUMENT MAY BE FOUND WITH A METAL LOCATOR.

EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 40.8 METERS (134 FEET) SOUTH OF INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARY MARKER NUMBER 188-B, 7.9 METERS (26.0 FEET) EAST OF THE EAST END OF A SIGN READING -WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES.
It seems that almost the only evidence of its existence is its physical presence.
