The Opera Hotel is located across the street from Oslo's Opera House and around the corner from the Central Railroad Station.
This work is located at the curb by the hotel's entrance.
It depicts a cartoon-type lifesized man in a business suit with three suitcases surrounding him on the ground. He appears to waiting for a taxi. The work appears to be made from aluminum.
A small plaque indicates that it is called "DEN REISENDE" which is German for "The Travelers" and the artist is Kurt Laurenz Metzier. It is dated 2001.
