I recovered the AGENCY AZ mark as described in the NGS datasheet PID NY0964. AZ is in good condition and the datasheet info for the AGENCY BM series is adequate for recovery.

TO REACH THE AZIMUTH MARK FROM THE KLAMATH INTERNATIONAL RESORT, CONTINUE NORTHERLY ON STATE HIGHWAY 62 FOR 2.25 MILES TO A FORK. KEEP LEFT ON PAVED ROAD AND GO WEST FOR 2.15 MILES TO THE AZIMUTH MARK ON THE RIGHT. THE AZIMUTH MARK IS A STANDARD DISK STAMPED AGENCY 1967, CEMENTED IN A DRILL HOLE IN THE NORTH HEAD WALL OF A CONCRETE IRRIGATION DITCH. IT IS 31 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF THE PAVED ROAD, 4 FEET SOUTH OF A METAL WITNESS POST WITH SIGN ATTACHED SET IN FENCE LINE AND 2 FEET EAST OF THE WEST END OF HEAD WALL. AIRLINE DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM NEAREST TOWN 5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF FORT KLAMATH.

Your Directions:
Go west along Weed Rd for 2.15 miles until you see a shiny metal witness post on the right. Concrete headwall to irrigation ditch should be easy to spot and AZ Mark is monumented on west end of headwall.
