Marker Name: Landaker-Brewster House
Marker Text: Jack Haughton, a local bricklayer, built this residence for general contractor Fritz Landaker in 1939. However, the home is best known for its second owner, George Brewster, who purchased it in 1944. Brewster was the city attorney for many years and was a partner in Cunning & Brewster law offices. The building is one of the few brick residences in Redmond and is a combination of the Tudor and Colonial Revival styles.
