Here are a couple of tillage tools on display at the Doukhobor Discovery centre.

Both the small cultivator and the spring cultivator would have been used for general tillage, primarily keeping the weeds down. They would also have found use in breaking up and preparing previously ploughed ground preparatory to seeding.

They would have been horse drawn or possibly even human powered in a pinch.
