This Roadside Look-Out has spectacular views of the San Rafael Swell and the stupendous rock formations for which the area is famous. At this point the San Rafael Swell gives way to the south end of Castle Valley and some signs of civilization. This View Area is on the lonely stretch of Interstate between Green River and Salina where there are no town or services along the highway for 110 miles.
