A street called Park Circle surrounds this 120 meter diameter park. In the centre of the park is this tall war memorial. Prior to merging into the City of Winnipeg in 1972, Transcona was a separate city so, although mentioned on the plaques, these are likely all Transcona servicemen.

 Description of Memorial: The memorial has a 4-foot square stone base (12" high) with another 3-foot stone base (10" high) on top of it. Above that is a 2-foot square stone about 3 feet tall. On the west side is the World War I plaque; on the north side is the World War II; on the east side is the small dedication plaque and on the south side are two plaques for Korea & Peacekeepers. On top of everything is a tall stone obelisk. Total height is about 12 feet.
