Established in 1980, the M.S. Kenora has been giving tours of sunset country for the past 32 years. The MS Kenora Cruise Ship is certified by Transport Canada. At 85' long by 22' wide the ship is fully licensed for food and alcoholic beverages and accommodates up to 200 passengers and crew.
This scenic cruise boat goes out on a 2-hour tour of the lake and over 14,000 islands that make up the Lake of the Woods. The first cruise of the day is a luncheon cruise, and the last a dinner cruise, where you can dine on a buffet of great foods. The cruise takes you around various points on the lake. The captain serves as tour guide, pointing out highlights along the way, including some celebrity summer homes (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Kelsey Grammer and Randy Bachman ana former United States vice-president Walter Mondale), also the MS Kenora travels the same route used by fur traders in the 1700s - 1800s, so, many historical landmarks are noted on the cruise. If you don’t want dinner, you can sit up top in the open air for a spectacular view and great photo opportunities. The ship can also be rented out for charter tours and there are also moonlight cruises available.
