This cut bench mark is placed 1m above ground level on the south-east face of the tower of this large county-town church. Due to the lie of the land in Buckingham the church is not built in the traditional east-west direction but rotated approximately 70 degrees clockwise from this. Hence the south-east face equates to the south face of a 'normal' church. The tower contains a grand ring of eight bells and a clock with three faces.
The mark is at 91.6048m above Newlyn datum and was last verified in 1967.
Type of Trigpoint: Cut Bench Mark
Condition: Good
