At the Civic Center there is always activities going on. The library is at the Civic Center. There are two halls for rent for any occasion. There a Senior Luncheon every day, Monday thru Friday, all year long. The price for lunch for seniors is only $2.00. The Computer Club meets every first Tuesday and 3rd Monday of each month. There is Tai Chi for seniors. There is a 55 Alive driving course for seniors. There is Friends of the Library, Kids Library, Busy Fingers, Painting, Cards, constant activities for kids, and many more activities that you won't want to miss.
From September thru May, Golden Shores is a very busy place. There are constant activities for kids of all ages. It never freezes here and the winters are so pleasant.
From June thru August, Golden Shores becomes a sleepy little community because its so hot and the snowbirds go back to wherever they came from, but many summer visitors come to enjoy the water with their water craft, great night fishing, hunting and off-roading.
