The “Friends of Metro Search and Rescue” Las Vegas Balloon Festival was held Friday, Nov. 2 to Sunday, Nov. 4 at Southern Hills Hospital. The events were free to attend, and open to the public.
Several hot air balloon companies participated in balloon launches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings and a Saturday evening “Glow.” Balloon rides were also available to the public daily (cost was $250/person.
Community vendors and other balloon activities were available at various dates and times with a health fair on Saturday afternoon.
