The steam train takes you on a journey through the scenic Gatineau Hills and along the Gatineau River. Tour guides and musicians join you on board to make this half-day excursion an unforgettable experience. The five hour round trip includes a two-hour stop in the picturesque town of Wakefield and travel time is one hour and a half in each direction.
The train operations have been suspended after heavy rains damaged the tracks during a storm that occurred in 2011. The train is now owned by the Chemin de fer de l'Outaouais and should be back in operation for the 2014 season.
The coordinates were taken at the train station on Devault Street in Gatineau (Hull) where the train departs for a 64-kilometre round trip. Our pictures were taken on July 2012 at the Gatineau station after visiting elyob's waymark nearby (WMBQKB).
