One of the outdoor interpretive displays on this overlook wayside that overlooks Bear Lake provides some interesting history about some very special fish!
Here is part of the text:
"Four species of fish are found in Bear Lake and nowhere else in teh world. Isolated geographically for at lease 100,000 years, combined with a unique water chemistry, has resulted in the evolution of four species of fish that have adapted to the Bear Lake Environment."
