The Grand Canyon is such a spectacular part of the State of Arizona that they call it the "Grand Canyon State" as if it covered the entire state!

Very few people have not heard of the Grand Canyon at one time or another, but many official tourism agencies throughout the state still extoll its attractions and make sure that you have all the information necessary for your visit.
Shuttle buses provide transportation throughout the South Rim area and private tour buses offer tours of various portions of the park.
