Travelers along Interstate 5 can't help but notice this large and tall USA Flag that contrasts well with the bright blue skies that Redding often has. This flag was monumented by the Enterprise Lions Club in 2002 in response to 9/11 and there are two plaques that lie at the base of the flag. One of these plaques says the following:
RAISE THE FLAG!
"DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED OUR
COUNTRY"

The best way to access this tall and proud flag is to take the Cypress Ave Exit heading west and then take a right, heading north onto Bechelli Lane. The flag and monuments are situated in a parking lot close to I-5.

 Description of Memorial: This gigantic flag is hard to miss as you travel along I-5 and you can take the exit onto E Cypress Ave. then turn north onto E Bechelli Lane and the flag is in a parking lot. You don't realize just how large this flag is until you walk up to it and stand close to its base. It really has some presence and you can hear the fabric of the flag flapping in the wind.
