The chancel arch and the North and South arcades date to the 13th century. The West tower is 15th century and the South porch 19th century. The chancel was rebuilt in 1726.

The major part of the church is constructed of pebblestone with Barnack stone dressings. The 1726 chancel is constructed of red brick with Barnack stone dressings. West tower is in three stages with an embattled parapet and diagonal buttresses
