This pharmacy is quite a treat. Looking at it means you are looking at the past. All in it is what one would expect of a Portuguese pharmacy of the 70's. Because São Tomé was a Portuguese city until 1975, when Sao Tome and Principe gained its independence. But the pharmacy remained as it was by then.
Even the ad neon refers to a very popular medicine by then, for the flu (Melhoral). Indoors, the same: the long counter and all the furniture are made of massive wood. A postcard from the past!
