Corfu popular stop for cruise ships in the Eastern Mediterranean. The cruise ship usually drop anchor for a couple of hours at the pier in the west of the New Port where the ferries for Italy and the Greek mainland leave.
When I visited the port there were two large cruise ships at the pier:
MS Ryndam: built 1994, length 220m, width 32m, 1627 passengers, crew 557, owner Holland America Line.
Costa Classica: built 1991, length 220m, width 30 m, 1420 passengers, crew 610, owner Costa Cruises.
