This speeder was manufactured by Fairmont Railway Motors Ltd. in Toronto ON. It is belt driven and has a single cylinder, water cooled engine of approx 6-8 hp. It is an S2 model, series K. S2s were built in the 40s and 50s, I know, so it is probably of that vintage.

I assume that Fairmont Railway Motors Ltd. of Toronto ON is a Canadian subsidiary of Fairmont Railway Motors Inc., of Fairmont, Minnesota.

Unfortunately, this is the only piece of equipment on display at this site.

As Grand Forks hosted as many as five railroads at one time, it's difficult to say from which railroad this speeder came.
