There are nice fishing spots on both sides of the bridge. I was busy admiring the river and how gently is was flowing this time of year.

Hummm this would make a great fishing spot. Though I will have to admit, K and I both love to fish and hold valid BC fishing licenses: however we are of the catch and release kind of fisher-persons, not intentional. It just seems that one of us takes a dive into the water after that fish that got away. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

So here is what happened: I walked to the other side of the bridge and spotted two fishermen. Of course I asked, "Did you catch anything?" The dark haired one picked up a large trout and waved it at me.

"So is this your favorite fishing hole?", I asked. Well, comes to find out they were just passing through the area, and were given local info as to where to fish from a passerby.

There are rainbow trout, bull trout, whitefish, and northern pike are known to be in some areas around Grand Forks.
