ABOUT THE CEMETERY:

Dothan City Cemetery is located in Houston County, Alabama. Although there are some rural cemeteries older than this one within the county, this is the oldest cemetery in Dothan proper, dating from some time in the late 1800s. There are an estimated 4,000 graves in this cemetery, several of them with Woodmen of the World headstones.
