This museum is housed in an impressive, European styled building, but I could not find any information (in English) as to its posterity. The museum itself houses an impressive array of artefacts, supplemented by displays and documentation. The province has a long and complex series of cultures and kingdoms. Each of these is described in some detail. Each display is bilingual, in Chinese and English.
I was invited in by the museum staff without charge. I am not sure if this is normal procedure, but they seemed a little surprised to see a westerner visit the museum. I saw no admission fees.
