Located near St. Nicholas' Church, this building has a sign in Estonian and English. The English portion informs us:
"12 A Ruutli Street, a Late-Gothic rent house with acute gable, divided by niches for blind windows, an architectural monument under national protection. Built in 1515 as an apartment house with two symmetric flats by joining two private domains known already from the end of the 14th century (master Peter Steynwerter) to accomodate the vergers of St. Nichola's Church. A unique example in the architectural heritage of Tallinn by its function and symmetric design."
Date Built: 1515
