Piazza Columbo was dedicated on October 13, 2007 and made possible by the commitment and hard work of local residents, mostly from the Italian community.
The fountain is part of the reclamation project to turn this historic location from a vacant lot into a beautiful park.
The property was once owned by Issaco Georgetti, on which he built the Montana Hotel in 1905.
