The benchmark (08NM083-BM2) is in the concrete foundation, on the east side.
We used to live across the lake from Kelowna, in Westbank, and I have wondered in the past what this little house was. Now I know.
This gauge house is right on the beach in down-town Kelowna. Step off the sidewalk beside it and you're in the sand. You'll even notice "The Sails", a Kelowna landmark, in the background of one of the pix, and the beach and the lake in the background of another.
