This La Quinta hotel has it's own Bell Tower with three 2-Foot wide bells.

This La Quinta has a Bell Tower with 3 bells. The Desk clerk says they were functional until 2002 when the clappers were welded in place. Hotel patrons did not like it when the strong Colorado winds would make them ring in the middle of the night.
A Wake-Up call is one thing but 24 Inch bells are just a little annoying when they swing and sway and peal in the middle of the night.
Many La Quinta hotels have the tower as their trademark but this is the first that I have stayed in that actually had bells in their bell tower.
