In City Hall Cardiff The grand staircases to the left of the entrance hall, features a Bronze memorial plaque to Captain Robert Scott and his courageous companions. The staircas has ornate bronze balustrades, which lead to the reception rooms above, and the grand marble hall. The Scott memorial commemorates those who sailed from
Cardiff on the Terra Nova, on their ill-fated expedition to the South Pole in 1910.
The Bronze shows Scott his comrades and Antartic icons - Dog Sled & Sealions.
