The ALDI at 1601 W Northwest Highway in Garland offers great products (European chocolate!) at discount prices. Beer and wine is also available here for purchase (over age 21 only, of course).
I (personally) think of this ALDI as "the one that got away," because they were looking at another location closer to my home before settling on this location.
The waymarked Garland ALDI store opened in 2010 and has been very successful, despite initial customer offense at the quarter deposit for a shopping cart and paying for grocery bags. I'd rather use my own bags, anyway!!
