This is a very lovely cascading falls (horsetail cascade, I believe) that requires a little bit of effort to see. The Gorge Trail takes you to the very edge at the top, but it is the Rim Trail that offers the best view of the whole falls.

For the best of both worlds, go to the west entrance and follow the Rim Trail to the scenic overlook to view the falls, then continue down the trail to the wooden footbridge (N 42° 24.046 W 076° 34.916)the crosses over Enfield Creek to the Gorge Trail. Walk back upstream to the top of the falls. Then, upstream of Lucifer Falls is a smaller cascade followed by a narrow chute in the gorge where the creekbed narrows. A stone bridge (N 42° 24.075 W 076° 35.127) provides a perfect vantage point to study this feature). Upstream of that is still another small cascade waterfall (with no name that I am aware of). See the PDF map at this link (
visit link) from the Robert H Treman State Park website, or view the scanned map in the photo gallery of this waymark.
For the shortest walk and to the above described walking loop (about 1/2 mile in length), go to the West Entrance of Robert H. Treman State Park (N 42° 24.460 W 076° 35.960) and park at (N 42° 24.145 W 076° 35.325).
