The Orange County Department of Tourism and Visitors Bureau is located in the old train station that served as the Southern Railroad Passenger Depot in Orange, Virginia in the early 20th century. The last passenger train stopped in the 1970s and the station was abandoned and fell into disrepair. It was renovated in 1997 and now serves as a visitors center, community center, and a transportation hub.
Located in the heart of the downtown Orange Commercial Historic District, the visitors bureau is open daily 9 AM to 5 PM. It provides services such as assistance with lodging and dining, tours and events; and free information, brochures and maps to local and statewide attractions.
