The Wilbur D. May Museum presents an incredible collection of rare and exotic artifacts accumulated during a lifetime of world travel, by Nevada rancher and philanthropist Wilbur D. May.

The museum's collection stems from over 40 trips made around the world by Wilbur D. May. Items included are T'ang Dynasty pottery, African masks, statues, and artwork, Inuit scrimshaws, Egyptian scarab figures, Greek icons, wildlife dioramas and a shrunken head from South America. There is also a replica of rooms from Wilbur's Double Diamond Ranch in South Reno. The museum is located within
Rancho San Rafael Regional Park.
The museum is open year-round and offers many special exhibits and is home to several feature exhibits throughout the year.
