This station is large and wide, and busy. Motorbikes, taxies, and mini-buses whizz by as you carry your bags to your next destination, plus of course, the big buses carrying the good folk of Hanoi to their intended destinations. Take care. From here buses arrive and depart largely from the Halong Bay area on the coast east of Hanoi, but also less frequently to other regional areas.
The station is a rectangular building. Enter, and a large seated waiting area is before you, with ticket counters against the far wall. The buses are behind the station. Little English either spoken or written. I would advise asking your hotel staff or Vietnamese girlfriend to write your destination on a convenient piece of paper, other, who knows where you may arrive?
Waymark made at station entrance.
Getting to the station can be achieved by a private taxi or a public bus.
