Yester House is a 28 room Georgian Revival mansion formerly owned by Gertrude Divine Webster. It was purchased by the Southern Vermont Artists in 1951, which became the Southern Vermon Arts Center. It houses the administrative offices. The Mansion's entrance, salon, bed chambers and sitting rooms features art of more the 600 artists.

Gertrude Divine Webster was married to William M Ritter who owned the WM Ritter Lumber Company. Gertrude and William went thru a infamous divorce in the 1920's.
