There is a 5-mile driving loop through hammocks, flatwoods, and scrub. You will see a multitude of songbirds in the oaks and pines and you may see a colony of red-cockaded woodpeckers. Turkeys, wood storks, and limpkins are common. Grasshopper and Bachman's sparrows, short-tailed hawks, and scissor-tailed kites are seen occasionally in more remote areas.
The Florida Trail also crosses portions of this WMA.
