I located this AZ Mark after logging a nearby benchmark imbedded in a sidewalk of the Isaac Lee Patterson Bridge (link to log this OSHD benchmark on Geocaching.com is here): (

visit link) This benchmark is part of the BRUSHY benchmark series but it has its own PID in the geocaching.com database. This and the BRUSHY series are NGS benchmarks. The PID for this AZ Mark is OA0833. The PID for the BRUSHY series of benchmarks (station mark and reference marks 3 and 4 (reference marks 1 & 2 were destroyed)) is OA0902 and that series was originally monumented in 1924. DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1988 1.1 KM (0.70 MI) NORTH FROM GOLD BEACH. 1.1 KM (0.70 MI) NORTHERLY ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 101 FROM THE COURTHOUSE IN GOLD BEACH, IN THE CENTER OF THE SOUTH END OF THE EAST CONCRETE GUARDRAIL OF THE HIGHWAY BRIDGE SPANNING THE ROGUE RIVER, AND 7.1 M (23.3 FT) EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY. THE MARK IS 1.0 M ABOVE THE HIGHWAY.
