Pittsburg Lake is a glacial lake on Sugarloaf Mountain. You have to hike to the lake. The trail is only 1.5 miles (1 way). You will gain a lot of elevation. It is strenuous, but it is do-able. Directions to parking: Drive up American Fork canyon. Take the Tibble Fork cutoff. Just past Tibble Fork Reservoir, the road goes up to Silver Lake Flatt or turns onto a dirt road. Take the dirt cutoff. Make sure that you have 4-Wheel drive. Keep on the dirt road past Granite Flatt. You will pass a sign to go to Cascade Springs. Keep going toward Mineral Basing. The Road splits, take the cutoff across the river. There is a parking lot there. There are some geocaches that you can find while you are in the area. There are 2 caches going to Pittsburg Lake and some in Mineral Basin. Make sure that you come prepared!
