The village of Lode is famous for its restored Watermill aptly named, Lode Mill, now part of the Anglesey Abbey House and Gardens, open to the public through the National Trust.
Over many years the mill has processed several different commodities such as flour, fertiliser and cement.
It has been restord by a group of volunteers and produces a bread flour well respected by home bread makers.
