There are clock faces on all four sides of the church's steeple. The clock face has Roman numbers for each digit with ticks for each minute. The clock appears that is currently not working.
This church is the fourth church at this location and was built in 1886. The church was founded in 1762. The current building is in a late Gothic Revival style and was designed by local architect Lewis Jacoby. During the Revolutionary War when the British occupied Philadelphia an earlier version of this church was used as a hiding place for the Liberty Bell. The building continues to serve its United Church of Christ congregation.
