In 2009, the farmers' market in Kingsport was given a new home in an old building and parking area of the former Kingsport Press area. Further work was done to the building to provide roll-up doors and other ammenities.

Around August 2012, two small quilt blocks were hung on the building. On the east side is a pattern I'm calling "Corn Cross" (Waymark WMF6A1) since no official name was found. On the west side is this "Flower Basket" pattern. This quilt block can be seen from the nearby Food City parking lot and gas station. Per the 2/10/2013 Kingsport Times-News article, these two quilt blocks were painted by students at Cora Cox Academy.
