Udon Thani, a big and important city in northern Thailand, with the usual range of entertainment facilities (perhaps enhanced as the US military does the occasion training exercise here, in a tradition stretching back to the Vietnam War). A little to the east of the town, near the train tracks are a few bars and entertainment facilities, as such. Here one will find one more classy than most, distinguished as it advertises its presence with the noble neon. In English simply "Udon".
