The city of Udon Thani is one of the larger in the Kingdom. To the east of the city is a large public park, which contains, amongst other choice attractions, a colourful and dragon themed Chinese temple. At the entrance to the park and temple is a large arch, which has two golden lions flanking both its entry and exit. The lions are smaller than life-sized, but look distinguished, as befits their task.
