The Hoito restaurant in the basement of the Finnish Labour Temple has been serving up hot home-cooked Finnish specialties for almost 100 years. They are justifiably famous for their thin, impossibly delicious Finnish pancakes, which you can get anytime the restaurant is open. If you come on a weekend, expect a line out the door.
Food personality John Catucci didn't help thin out the crowds when he featured the Hoito's pancakes on his popular Food Network Canada TV show "Ya Gotta Eat Here!"
