When we first moved to Montgomery some years ago, this was known as Evangel Temple. They have grown over the years and have a K-12 school called Evangel Christian Academy, as well as other ministries. Evangel Church is near the Perry Hill Road exit of I-85. They are listed on the national and state assemblies of God web sites as being members of that denomination. Their web page lists two Sunday services. The 9:00 AM one is shown as "Classic Service" and the 11:00 AM one is called "Contemporary Service." The church also has a 6:30 PM Family Night on Wednesdays.
