The ' Jewish monument ' in Ruinen (municipality De Wolden) was founded in memory of the eleven Jewish fellow citizens who, during the second world war in the concentration camps Auschwitz and Sobibor died.

The youngest was 14, the oldest was 81 years.



Het 'Joods Monument' in Ruinen (gemeente De Wolden) is een gedenksteen, vervaardigd uit zwart marmer.

Het 'Joods monument' in Ruinen (gemeente De Wolden) is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan de elf joodse medeburgers die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog in de concentratiekampen Auschwitz en Sobibor om het leven kwamen.

De namen van de elf slachtoffers luiden:

Lena Goldsteen, Bernard van Holland, Mozes van Holland, Rachel van Holland, Mietje van Holland-de Horst, Esther Kahn, Elly Meiboom, Mannes Meiboom, Meta Anna Meiboom, Mozes David Meiboom en Anna Meiboom-de Horst.

De jongste was 14, de oudste was 81 jaar.
