From Wikipedia:
"The Kreidersville Covered Bridge is a Burr truss wooden covered bridge that crosses the Hokendauqua Creek in Allen Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Its length is 116 feet. The bridge is owned by the township and is the only covered bridge remaining in Northampton County.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980."
The bridge previously known as the "Hummel's - Koch's - Solt's Bridge" after families who lived in the area was built 1839. The bridge was the subject of early preservation efforts in the area when it was decided in 1959 that a new bridge would be built and the old bridge was to be removed. The preservation efforts resulted in the bridge being restored and preserved.
