This is a small sculpture affixed to the side of a wall at the 45th street Artists Co-Op in Emeryville, California.

The Chosen is a ceramic and steel sculpture about 77 inches long, 22 inches high and 10 inches deep (in relief). Two object protrude from the artwork, a large meteor rock and the head of a human avoiding being hit by the meteor. Faint writing of the title, sculptor and date can be seen up close.

The artwork was part of the artist's graduate thesis and was owned by the University of California at Davis. Now it is installed at the 45th street Artists Co-Op.
